It was through reflection and questioning that I was able to find more efficient strategies, to perceive the less positive aspects of the practice, and to find solutions to improve the intervention. Through the analysis of everyday life, solving immediate problems, but also situating them in a wider perspective. Being an international trainee makes the reflection, the dynamics and the commitment even more reinforced.

The fact that the language is so different put pressure on both children and me, learning to communicate with people from other cultures, knowing how to respect and understand it was a true learning and growth.

About the main differences between the kindergartens in Portugal and Denmark, this one is absolute. The green areas it goes far beyond the institutions. Communicating with the community, with other institutions and study visits makes the children look at how life expresses itself outside the kindergarten. It is amazing how in different environments children learn to know, to learn, to live. The daily routine of the children is passed playing outside or in the difernt rooms that the kindergarten offer. Whitch of them can plya around regardless the group that they belong. The children in kindergarten have more freedom for the tasks of the day, preparing their lunch, and create their own routines. They put the table and clean the room after and before eating. Isn't necessary all of them making the same activity, they can choose or share some ideas.

As a international trainee, I was constantly learning and confronting what I already knew and what I may know. Thus, I believe, that there was a professional growth over time, This was a very important step for my personal and professional development, contributing to a future construction of my identity as a professional. All the fears and concerns that were initially established were tackled throughout the practice. It was, therefore, a rewarding experience and a very important stage for my personal and
professional development, allowing a practical theoretical articulation and an internalization of competences and differents points of views, about
education.
