it can be very difficult to find accommodation for foreigners because of the language and cultural barrier. but some parts of dhaka is well suited for finding accomodation for foreigners. Specially areas near banani, gulshan and baridhara.

dhaka provides a variety of local and international cuisines. the local foods found in old part of dhaka is a must.

the parliament house, national museum and some medival castles

eating out in dhaka can be a fun experience. there are several places offering different cuisines in gulshan and banani.

the night life in dhaka is not very attractive. although there are few nightclubs and discos in some parts but mainly they are not of international standard.

coming to study in dhaka would be an remarkable experience for foreigners. people are very friendly and hospitable. there are scopes to observe a very different culture and people. but it is advisable to be cautious of pickpockets or muggers.
