Experience in Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Czech Republic by Lucie

Generally, what is Czech University of Life Sciences Prague like?

This university is really good. Only 4-6 subjects per semester, nice teachers. Lessons are once in 2 weeks for 1, 5 hours for each subject. So you will not spend a lot of time at school. Talk lectures are every week but its not mandatory to go there.

What are the facilities like?

Lots of sports fields, pool, you can do picnic. Lots of pubs or cafes in the campus. School restaurant is not very good.

What are the tutors like?

Mostly very nice, especially to erasmus students.

Are the lessons easy in Czech University of Life Sciences Prague?

During the semester, you normally have to do some project; then, there is a test and, if you pass it, you can go to the exam - mostly test and oral. There were really hard lessons, but generally they are easy. And you have a lot of time to study.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Every May there is Miss AGRO, that means miss of the Uni, concert, party. The University organizes a job fair and lots of stuff, but I don't follow it, so sorry, I can't say..

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

There are lots of teachers and I study the smallest apprenticeship, so I know our Anhropology teachers well. And they are perfect. But, definitely, during every semester, there is a teacher which I don't like.
