Living in Covilhã is nice, despite it being on the hills. I don't really like the kind of parties that there, but for those who like pop music is perfect.

The lifestyle of a student, much depends on the student. In my case, I like that it's quiet to study. During the day there's almost no noise and the cost of living is cheap.
How much does it cost to live in Covilhã?
It depends on the student. Personally, I survive with 400 euros.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Covilhã? Is there any advice you can give?
It is not easy, but it's not impossible. My advice is, do not hurry, you will find the ideal place for you.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food there is very good, and you will find great prices. Be sure to eat vegan francesinha is very tasty.
What places would you recommend visiting in Covilhã?
I'd recomment visiting Pelourinho, Serra da Estrela, Park Goldra and Jardim Público.
Is it good to eat out in Covilhã? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes! My favourite spots are Café Biblioteca, Ananda, Café da Saudade and Casa de chá.
Is the nightlife good in Covilhã? Where is good to go?
I do not go out much. But, ArtBarô and Companhia are nice.
What advice would you give future students heading to Covilhã?
Prepare your legs, you will climb many hills but it will be a cool experience!
