The city is beautiful, lot of historical buildings, cultural possibilities and around the city are numerous volcanos just very suitable for a nice trip.

What is the student lifestyle like in Clermont-Ferrand?

Clermont is a student city. There is like 80 thousand students during semesters so everything what a student desires can be found in Clermont.

How much does it cost to live in Clermont-Ferrand?

It costs a lot, but that is just my opinion because I came from the Czech Republic. In comparison with other French cities, the prices are below average.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Clermont-Ferrand? Is there any advice you can give?

CROUS is an office providing accommodation for students in Clermont and I think it is the best and easiest way how to obtain a room. On the other hand - also private room is a good choice and sometimes even cheaper.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There is a variety of restaurants and other facilities. However my favourite dish cannot be found in France.

What places would you recommend visiting in Clermont-Ferrand?

Place de Jaude, Place de la Victoire, Puy-de-dome, Jardin Lecoq.

Is it good to eat out in Clermont-Ferrand? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

My favourite spot was on Place de la Victoire...beautiful cathedral.

Is the nightlife good in Clermont-Ferrand? Where is good to go?

Rich, very rich.
