What is it like to live in Clermont-Ferrand? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's very nice. There are several thing to do... Because there some great mountains around and the food is very good, there some very good restaurant and there are some traditional Market with some very typical food. And in the center there are some bar for student and it's very funny

How much does it cost to live in Clermont-Ferrand?

It's not too expensive. It's less expensive than in Paris. For Student the best way is to find some Flat Room, because it's more fun and it's cheaper. For the food or the drink it's the same price that in France.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Clermont-Ferrand? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it's not too difficult, but you must take time before to find what you want, and if you can't find anything you can take a room for month in some student residence.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very good, a lot of cheese like "Cantal" or "bleu d'auvergne"... If you go to Clermont you must eat one time a "truffade" in some restaurant.

There are some good place but is start to be expensive after... But there some very nice pub or restaurant like "La Pedrix" or "Le Baroq café".

Is the nightlife good in Clermont-Ferrand? Where is good to go?

The best is to stay in the center and to follow the people.. there are some nightclub, but it depends if there are a student party or not... but generally after Wednesday there are some big parties everynight.
