What is it like to live in Celje? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Celje is cute small town. Life here is calm, and weather is mostly sunny. It has a great park to chill or do different activities. There is a lot of things and events going on, but you have to find it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Celje?

Celje doesn't have a lot of students, but those who are there are having parties or other activities at MCC - it's also a great place for youngsters, or in some bars, pubs and disco places at weekends.

How much does it cost to live in Celje?

Celje is the 3rd biggest city in Slovenia, so everything has normal prices. If Ljubljana is expensive, than Celje is quite normal for Slovenian conditions.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Celje? Is there any advice you can give?

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

There is a lot of different restaurants with daily menues, you have slovenian food or some other (italian,chinese...) I like food here, but I love deserts at Pomaranča :)

What places would you recommend visiting in Celje?

The castle, Šmartinsko lake, Celjska koča, the museum Hermanov brlog, pub Hiša piva, MCC...

Is it good to eat out in Celje? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Everybody like pizzerias/ restaurants Verona, Picikato, Koper, Diavolo, Oliva, Limbo...

Is the nightlife good in Celje? Where is good to go?

At weekends there are disco parties in Casa and Planet Tuš. If you want a bit more bar feeling than go to Branibor club, Mansion, Mcc, Vrtnica...

What advice would you give future students heading to Celje?

Celje is small, so go around Slovenia, you're gonna have some great time ;)
