It is not easy to adapt to life in Catania. The city is a little bit chaotic, like all the South of Italy. Don’t worry about that, you will get used to Catania soon and you will enjoy its nights and its streets, always full of people. In that sense, the atmosphere is quite similar to the Spanish cities.
Nice and welcoming people, very open and willing to have a good time with Erasmus students. Bad communications are the only disadvantage and transport works really bad: trains are always late and buses as well.
Etna volcano is amazing and you can see it from the entire city. Catania, you have to live it!
