University allocation by my home university

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I took subsidy from government as well as school scholarship,around 6000 pounds in total

What is the student lifestyle like in Cardiff?

Really relaxed, most modules only request one rask to do in an semester in Business School, exam or assignment.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Cardiff to other students?

Yes, as an exchange student the student life is not busy so you can earn full experience of living in another country, beside, the student union organised numerous of events for you to join including day trips and academic workshops, charity events.

What is the food like?

Many types of restaurants, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian etc. you can use Uber eats and delivery derives for most of the restaurant.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Cardiff?

Yes, unfortunately the university accommodation is far from main study area so I find a shared house online.

How much does it cost to live in Cardiff?

Rent varies from 200+ pounds to 600 pounds per month depending on your choice.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, mostly in English, the university offer English assistance courses to students.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Cardiff from your city?

From Hong Kong, travel by flight to London and enjoy the University's free pick up service.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Cardiff?

There's numerous of clubs and bars in City Centre, including the student union.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Cardiff Castle, the Bute park, st Fragus
