What is the student lifestyle like in Bucharest?

The student life is great. There are plenty of places you can go to study, like libraries or a calm pub or restaurant, and in terms of partying, you need to stay here for a long, long time to visit all the good places.

How much does it cost to live in Bucharest?

Life in Bucharest is very cheap. I believe is one of the cheapest capitals in EU.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bucharest? Is there any advice you can give?

No. The only advice I have is to avoid the pheriperal area of the city and to try to find some place near a metro station. It would be much easier for transportation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is amazing and very diverse. That is one thing that you should try.

What places would you recommend visiting in Bucharest?

  • Romanian Athenaeum
  • Village Museum
  • Museum of the Romanian Peasant
  • Palace of Parliament
  • National Museum of Art
  • The Arch of Triumph
  • Herastrau Park
  • Antim Monastrey

and more...

Is it good to eat out in Bucharest? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's the best idea. Caru'cu Bere and Hanul lui Manuc are my favorurite places to eat.

Is the nightlife good in Bucharest? Where is good to go?

Nightlife in Bucharest is one of the best. Just go to the Old Town, in the centre of the city, and choose your location.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bucharest?

The only advice I believe I have is to use an Uber driver instead of a taxi. Not because it is expensive, as it is not, but because some taxi drivers are taking advantage of foreigners and demanding more money.
