What is it like to live in Bucharest? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Bucharest is a wonderful experience because of the welcoming and happy people who create a vibrant atmosphere in the city.The city has well preserved buildings with large historical backgrounds and a lot of green areas to help you relax after a busy day.

How much does it cost to live in Bucharest?

Rent:300 to 400€(2 or 3 rooms apartament)
150-200€(1 room only)
Transport: 5 to 10€
Food & drinks: 5 to 20€ at a restaurant, pub, club, etc.
: aprox 100€ for full month
Taxi: 1,39 RON/Km (aprox 0.50€/km)
Train: FREE for students
10-30€

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bucharest? Is there any advice you can give?

It si quite easy to find accommodation in Bucharest because everywhere in the city you can see different posts/flyers with apartaments for rent

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is very tasty and quite cheap.
Dishes that I like: Polenta, Mici, Bulz, Ciorbă de burtă and others that I hope you will later have the chance to taste

What places would you recommend visiting in Bucharest?

Palace of Parliament, Antipa Museum, Romanian Atheneum, The National Library, Herăstrău Park, Cișmigiu Park, The Botanic Garden, The National Theatre and others that can be found in the central area of the city

Is it good to eat out in Bucharest? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes there are plenty of tasty dishes.These can be found at: The Embassy, Dristor Kebap, La Plăcinte and others placed in the old center, available and welcoming

Is the nightlife good in Bucharest? Where is good to go?

The first place to go to party is again the old centre at Piata Unirii because the area is full of restaurants, pubs and clubs that become alive durung tha night

What advice would you give future students heading to Bucharest?

People are friendly so don't be afraid to ask for hel if needed.Here are high standard universities so you can be sure that you will really become specialized.And after that, go and visit the centre and have a good time ;)
