What is it like to live in Bucharest? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Well, for me it was a new thing when I came to Bucharest. To live in Bucharest is very interesting. People are nice and you can make a lot of friends which will help you enjoy and discover the student life. I would recommend it because even it's big city and has like others big cities its flaws, I am sure you would enjoy spending time and trying to adapt to a new life. Living in Bucharest it's a meeting with a lot of funny and important things. You can study but also enjoy your time.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bucharest?
Actually, the student lifestyle in Bucharest depends very much on the university you are studying. Because some universities are really hard and you need to spend your time carefully. And also on your character.
How much does it cost to live in Bucharest?
Well it depends on your buget and preferences. The life in the dorms of some universities is not very pleasant but if you search well you can find a nice apartament. Also in Romania things are cheaper than in others countries.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bucharest? Is there any advice you can give?
It's easy to accommodate in Bucharest. You have to be friendly, an open and sociable person.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is pretty good basically. It's depends very much on your tastes. My favourite dishes are the traditional ones.
What places would you recommend visiting in Bucharest?
I would reccommend to visit all the historic monuments of Bucharest because I think that's nice to know some things about the country you are going to live . It will help you to understand better our complicated history and make a valuable opinion.
Is it good to eat out in Bucharest? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Is good to eat out in Bucharest. You can find a lot of restaurants here with different specialities. From the traditional romanian dishes to the exotic chinese food. I don't have favourite spots but after exams me and my friends are going to Old Brick, Sabatini or La Placinte.
Is the nightlife good in Bucharest? Where is good to go?
Until now I didn't taste my nightlife in Bucharest so I don't know nothing about it. Sorry :(
What advice would you give future students heading to Bucharest?
Enjoy your student life. Study hard and after have fun. It's important to learn but also to have nice memories. Bye ;)
