What is the student lifestyle like in Bucharest?

Excellent, lot of students here in Bucharest and ever more Erasmus ones. Once you get everything in order with your university, you can enjoy all the beauty this city has to offer. Also everything is cheap in comparaison with other European cities so that’s the best for students

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bucharest to other students?

I would definitely recommend the city to other students.

What is the food like?

The variety of food is very big in there. You can find anything. French cuisine, Romanian, italien, Japanese, fast food, Lebanese.... you got the choice.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bucharest?

When you don’t know the city is not easy to find the perfect place to stay. But give yourself time and try to find the perfect neighbourhood for you. I used the services of an agency to help me find my apartment and everything was perfect

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

You can have Romanian classes in your university. But even without it mostly everyone speaks English so no worries

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bucharest from your city?

Plane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bucharest?

Pretty much anywhere. Lot of bars and pubs in the old town/ center. Excellent nightclubs near floreasca and dorobanti. You can also find good rooftops.
