in the end, you chose the amount of work you wanna do like everywhere. Atmosphere at university areas is nice and friendly, but the system seems quite chaotic.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Bucharest to other students?
Yes indeed.

Mostly you get plain fare, but there's also a lot of fast food and fusion kitchen.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
The everyday language is quite easy to learn, if you want to use it correctly you have to invest more time and effort. you can take intensive language courses before the semester start at the American-romanian faculty and there are also courses during the semester.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bucharest from your city?
The easiest: airplane

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bucharest in the future?
If you have office stuff to do at the university, go in person.
go to the public markets (i.e. piata mosilor --Obor)
