Why did you choose to go to Bucharest, Romania?

Because I didn't know that much about Romania. I needed a completely brand new experience and was not attracted to the current desitination "Spain" or "England" for example. Not that I have any problems with those countries but I needed to change my life style .

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I stayed there from September to June, and I received approximately 400 euros per month . But this depend on where you come from.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bucharest?

Really really nice! it's very dynamic, there is always something to do . There is usualy a lot of foreign students! and the parties are great!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bucharest to other students?

Without any hesitation YES! The best experience of my life .

What is the food like?

I was not crazy about the food... But shoarmas are really good!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bucharest?

I was living in the Residence of ASE (Economic University). It was costing me 100 euros per month! It was great because a lots of other Erasmus students were living there!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I didn't have the chance to learn Romanian, because everyone speaks really good english, and with the other Erasmus students we were talking in English.

In ASE, all my courses were taught in English.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bucharest from your city?

From Paris, it was the plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bucharest?

Lipscani of course! Where all the dancing bars are! cheap drinks and good mood!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bucharest?

Excalibur definetly!
