Why did you choose to go to Bucharest, Romania?

I choose to go to Bucharest because of my internship. It was not my first choice but finally I am so happy to visit Romania.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bucharest?

Romanian students study and work after school most of the time. They are really busy !

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bucharest to other students?

I really recommend Bucharest for student, there are many activities to do, party and it is very cheap !

What is the food like?

romanian foods are really fat and with lots of meat and cabbage. They have also reall good pastries and dessert like papanasi.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bucharest?

It was difficult to find a flat, I recommend you to look at facebook group for accomodation.

How much does it cost to live in Bucharest?

It depends where you live, I lived in the subburd and I paid 200€ utiities included. Beware of scams !! If it possible, I recommend you to do skype visit of the flat and talk with the owner and look at the facebook profile. But it remains the best way for me to find a flat without agency fee.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bucharest from your city?

From france, it was the plane. You can fing low cost travel with Wizz.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bucharest?

yes sure !! The center of Bucharest is really beautiful at night and there are many pubs, night clubs,... And it is very safe ! I recommend you to go to Bordellos, there are most of the time life music.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bucharest?

Taverna covaci is the best one if you want to eat romanian food, it is really cheap !
Caru cu bere is more touristic place but foods are really good.
I can recommend you also more fancy places so little bit more expensive but so nice :
I love Linea-closer to the moon, it is a really beautiful rooftop you can go just to take pictures, drink cocktail or eat.
You have also gradina eden where you can drink really good wine !

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

If you like hiking, I realy recommend you to go to Munteles ruso ! It is little bit for from Bucharest but it is really beautiful. Don't forget to go to Sinaia to visit peles castle and the monastery. You can go also to Brasov.
