Bucharest
Bună everyone! (That means hello, so far nothing complicated).
It's been a little over a month since I arrived in Bucharest, Romania. Many, Romanians or not, asked me WHY I chose this destination Erasmus.
First of all, our school in Belgium didn't allow us to venture into 10, 000 different countries. In fact, we were limited to 6 choices. I had to weigh the pros and cons. And in the end, I chose Bucharest especially because it's a capital, there's always plenty to do and see, and especially because it was going to be a cultural shock. I had a lot of hesitation with the Netherlands, but even if sometimes I regret not being able to improve my Dutch, I'm more than satisfied with this choice.
The gigantic buildings, the parks all over the city, the super-friendly and kind people, the cheap food, events with free admission, the drinks at these events at affordable prices and to top it all off, meeting all types of people, not only in relation to their country of origin, but also in terms of their professional training.
Nothing better for me than to show you some of the great people I met here (photo taken on my birthday).
