What is it like to live in Brno? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Brno is lively city, where you could enjoy the city like a student, like a working man or like a family. The gastronomy is here on very high level. I think a little bit better than in Prague! There are many pubs with a great czech beer and many coffee rooms or bars. I love the evening in center, there are a lot of people sitting on ground around full pubs. There are one of the best universities in Czech republic for humanitarian or technical way.

How much does it cost to live in Brno?

I think that Brno is a little bit cheaper than Prague. So in global scale is one of the best place in the Central Europe. Where you have a good standard of living and good prices.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Brno? Is there any advice you can give?

When I was looking for a new shared room, I found it between two or three weeks.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love the breakfast before work or school. There are many options where you could eat with gluten free and that great because I need it!

What places would you recommend visiting in Brno?

Many options I dont know...National Theater Brno! I love this place a you could see some performance with english subtitles, balet or operas. 30 minutes before every performace you have ticket to the back seats only for 2€!!!

Is it good to eat out in Brno? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes. There many good restaurants or coffee rooms, where you could eat in the morning or evening.

Is the nightlife good in Brno? Where is good to go?

Excelent!

What advice would you give future students heading to Brno?

Please go to National Theater Brno! I love this place a you could see some performance with english subtitles, balet or operas. 30 minutes before every performace you have ticket to the back seats only for 2€!!!
