Why did you choose to go to Brno, Czech Republic?
Well, I read some stuffs about Brno which was quite interesting that this city is full of students and i thought it would be fun to be in Brno.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
Well, actually am not on scholarship but i pay for my tuition fees
What is the student lifestyle like in Brno?
Student life in Brno is perfect, every stuff here is moderate and student price. There are more clubs and drinks are less expensive making more party
Would you recommend the city and the University of Brno to other students?
Yes of course, Brno is a very nice city for especially students, every University here in Brno is off high standards and quality and therefore would recommend to any student.
What is the food like?
Food is very delicious and less expensive. Though i found it very hard for the first time, I am used to it now.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brno?
Accommodation was not a problem for me since it was arranged for me by my University.
How much does it cost to live in Brno?
Well, depending on spending, i spend approximately, 150 euros on accommodation and food for every month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?
The language is not that difficult to learn but it might take you some time to get used to some words but all the Universities have language courses for their students.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brno from your city?
Well, I live in Brno, but the best way is by bus ( Student Agency).
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brno?
Well, basically to the city center, pubs and the clubs since the clubs open from Monday through to Sunday.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brno?
Well, I will recommend Havana Restaurant, Stopkova plzenska pivnice, Sabaidy and Tomato Restaurant.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Well you can visit the Cathedral of St. Paul and Peter of Brno, Museum, špilberk castle, old Town Hall.
Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Brno?
I would say Brno is a very lively place to be with no difficulties in finding your way in and out of the city. Buses and trams run 24 hours a day and therefore you dont need to be afraid of going out any time you feel like it.
