How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship its 2 years, I receive 1000 Euros.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brno?

The lifesytle is laidback, conducive for studying everyone goes about their own bussiness.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Brno to other students?

Yes, i do.

What is the food like?

There is not that much variety but there are plenty of resturants where one can try different types of food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brno?

No, I stay at the University dorms.

How much does it cost to live in Brno?

On average I spend between 300 to 400 euros, the cost of living is very affordable.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language was not easy however the University does offer language courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brno from your city?

The tram transport system is very economical and easy to use.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brno?

It all depends what one enjoys doing, I do not go to night clubs, I prefer jazz clubs like Klub Alterna.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brno?

East Village makes the best burgers in town and Highland Steak House

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The nearest ones, are the caves and castle lednice.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Brno in the future?

Try to learn the language it will be very usefull.
