Why did you choose to go to Brno, Czech Republic?
I chose to study in Brno, Czech Republic -Masaryk University- because this University offered me a good set of courses related to Education, as my major is in Education this was the best option. Besides, the Brno, Czech Republic is a beautiful place for living and studying.
What is the student lifestyle like in Brno?
Student life is pretty nice! Personally, I like the teacher-student working system. It depends on the courses, some of them are easy to complete, but some others... hmmm I give you the benefit of doubt :)). Now, if you are a party-animal, Brno is a nice place for you! You will always have a party.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Brno to other students?
I fully recommend you Brno, it is a beautiful place, believe me!
and I also fully recommend you Masaryk University!
What is the food like?
Food! Here is a problem, in my case, I do not really like the food here, I find food very tasteless... regarding Czech food. However, you will find food from other countries... delicious! Ahhhhh but some desserts are yummy!
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brno?
I did not think it was difficult to find accommodation, I just got in touch with the University's accommodation provider, and this person provided me the necessary information.
How much does it cost to live in Brno?
You need, let's say 400EUROS.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?
I do not find it easy! But if you put mind and heart, surely you will learn it quickly. The University offers courses, and also the InternationStudentClub, in this last courses are for free, not only for Czech but also for other languages! Just make sure you take advantage of this!
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brno?
Tea houses!
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brno?
Panda :)... or go to Ikea!
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Cathedral of St. Peter and St. Paul, Spilberk Castle
Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Brno?
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EVERY MOMENT IN BRNO.
