Why did you choose to go to Brno, Czech Republic?

Middle of Europe.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship lasts 6 months and I cannot remember the amount of money.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brno?

Everything is cheap, cheerful and fun.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Brno to other students?

Yes. The city itself it's okay. It is not a huge city, but the possibility of travelling makes it excellent.

What is the food like?

The food is really healthy, kinda like England.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brno?

No, I used Airbnb.

How much does it cost to live in Brno?

Can live off £50 a week quite easily. However, the prices are increasing towards Prague prices as more tourists come.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Czech is very hard language and as a language novist it is even more difficult. I was not able to learn the language beyond basic words and phrases.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brno from your city?

Plane from Stansted to Brno.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brno?

Super Panda Circus.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brno?

The castle and Prague.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Brno in the future?

Do loads and loads of research.
