Guns, guns, AK-47

Yesterday was a great day! Yeah, I overslept my class at 10:50, again, and yeah, I didn't read the materials for the afternoon class, again, but it doesn't matter. Even if I did read it, it wouldn't help me much for understanding the lecture, it was something about Freud. Actually it was really interested, the professor was all into it, he was almost running up and down the classroom, making funny faces and waving his arms like... Well, I don't wanna finish that tought. :D I really like this passion (at least apparent passion) that the professors of English have at Masaryk University. So far, I didn't have a boring lesson. Ok, maybe it's because I chose only the interesting ones, but still, I bet that in Croatia they would make it pretty boring. At MU everything is lay-back, possibly only for Erasmus students, but honestly, I don't see any difference between me and the Czech students. Except that they have obligatory classes and I don't. But still, their obligatory classes are fun.

Anyway, the lecture was not the main reason why I loved yesterday's day so much. After the lecture I went with my, let's say, best friend here and his brother to the shooting range. This was my first time to hold and fire a real gun and it was awesome! I was exhilirated the whole evening and am still today. I'll put some pictures too. We tried one handgun, one revolver, one shotgun and two rifles. The handgun was my favorite, it layed in my hand just perfectly, hahaha. The feeling when shooting from it was indescribable, so good that I have to go again. I wanna go and try every handgun they have there (so it means I have to go several times :D). The revolver (Smith & Wesson 500) was very powerful, when I shot a bullet ( a huge one), it jumped back in my hand and I was like "whou". The shotgun (Mossberg 500) was cool, it destroyed half of the target. Kalashnikov was just something we had to try since it's so famous. And we tried M4, which was my favorite of the three. The only problem with the shotgun and rifles is that my right arm hearts in the shoulder now, but it was totally worth it. It wasn't really cheap either, we payed around 700 CZK each, but it's okay because we shot like 35 bullets each, 5 different weapons and we had a nice instructor. The place is called Trigger (http://www.triggerbrno.cz/en/contact), they speak English and are very kind and patient. As well, if it's your first shooting experience, they help you with everything, they advise you which gun to try first etc. You can take your target(s) home with you once you're done with shooting ( if they are not completely destroyed, of course). I put mine on the wardrobe doors since there is not a lot of place on my walls; they are mainly covered in photos. As well, we took some bullet shells as souvenirs, which is kind of stupid, I guess, but they look so good on my shelf that I will keep them. I shot a guun, I shot a guuun, ooooh yeah, ahaa (happy as a child)!

So, after the shooting experience we met a Greek friend of us and went to a pub to drink some tea. And eat cookies. In other words, we ate some párky v rohliku (hotdogs) at Česká station, I ate something that is called falafel but does not taste like one, and then we drank some beer. The pub was called Vegalite (http://www.vegalite.cz/) but it wasn't anything special. The beer was okay. However, it is also a vegetarian restaurant, and I heard the food is really good there. I should czech it out.

Well, tonight is the basement party again and then gangsta/decadent party in 7nebe. I think I'm not gonna dress up, although to go like a decadent girl would be interesting. Or not. I don't feel like wearing a costume again.

I didn't say anything about my roommate yet, did I? I just thought of it because she is sitting here in the room, clicking something in the internet, probably watching funny pictures again. She does that a lot, now she got me doing the same thing as well, it's contagious. She sends me the pics and then we laugh together. And we usually remember the phrases from it and use them in different situations, then we laugh and nobody can actually understand what is so funny. I have a great roommate. Despite the fact that she speaks to her computer sometimes, which sounds like swearing no matter the tone of her voice (it's Russian, so you know what I mean). Okay, I speak to my computer as well, but just because it's a great listener, really. :D

Okay, time to get out of the sleeping mood and to turn myself into a party animal, a mission that demands some music and non-alcoholic beverages. So, till next time!
