Staying in Student Residence
Worst Experience Ever
The place has nothing to be with the web site. It wasn't even finished when I arrived.
The bosses and most of the people in reception are unpleasant and unkind. Also, they barely speak English.
They have a gym, which you have to pay to use it, as well as the laundry. With the exorbitant asking prices, my opinion is that they have a very poor service and the facilities are very poor.
The single rooms have two beds which can only use one and if you want to take someone to sleep must pay 10€ at night. Don't think you can sneak them, as the residence is full of cameras.
You pay for almost everything, and if you don't want to pay to have your own fridge in the room, you will share one with the whole floor.
If what you want is meet Erasmus people, you should know it is full of non-Erasmus people, we were like 3 or so.
As last advice, before registering (if you dare) make clear what will be the term in which you are staying because if not, they will take advantage of it.
Conclusion: Not recommended.

Hello, can you give me a bit more info about the actual prices of the laundry, gym and the other paid services. Also what were your main expenditures and are the money from the program they give you enough. And how come non-erasmus people live there. Do they use it like a hotel for anyone who wants to stay ?
P.S. Sorry for the many questions but i'll probably be living there for the next five months and what you said really made me hesitate if it's worthy.
Thanks in advance !

Hello Kalpazan, sorry the delay, it's been busy.
I don't know prices, you should contact the dormitory or someone who is there for that.
The expenditures in dormitory were food and transport, also laundry (can't remember if there were more).
Half of the building is a hotel, the other half a dormitory. In this dormitory, mostly are people from Slovakia that lives far from Bratislava and they stay in dormitory, so it is not the partying atmosphere you expect when you go to Erasmus. What I found there was people who went there to study and they were quite serious and not very open.
About program money, it depends on grants you're having cause every country is different, but the truth is that it is a very expensive residence for having only the scholarship as support.
If I were to return to live there I would try to enter the residence the university offers, and if that is not possible, I would go to a flat.
Greetings and have a good Erasmus!!!
