Experience in Bratislava, Slovakia, by Vanda
What is it like to live in Bratislava? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia so it's the bigger city in SLovakia. The prices are quite bigger than e. g. Žilina. Room in share flat cost about 300€. Food prices in restaurants are different. Closer to old city price rises. During day (between 10 am-14pm) there is a menu called daily menu and it's little bit cheaper. It means about 7-8€. Beer in old city costs about 2€ but there is something like "small party city for students" called Mlyny and there all prices are really smaller than in other parts of Bratislava. Beer costs about 1€ and meal about 4€. However the old part of city is a beautiful one.
