Why did you choose to go to Bratislava, Slovakia?

I wanted to explore a different country.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

three months as mine Erasmus but 370 are not enough if you chose to live in a private accommodation.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bratislava?

Depends if you stay in the dormitory or not and how sociable you are. Moreover, I did not have class because I was here to write my thesis.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bratislava to other students?

the city maybe, the university no

What is the food like?

Good. If you are vegetarian you might have some more difficulties to explore proper Slovakia food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bratislava?

not too much. On FB you can find plenty of groups to find accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Bratislava?

the apartment was my biggest cost. life, compared to my country is cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No. yes there are courses available but I did not take them. Your level at the end of Erasmus will depend on your effort. It is not an easy language for romance speakers.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bratislava from your city?

my city is Verona so Quite close. I have always traveled to and from Bratislava by car but the flights are not expensive and if you live in Veneto you may also want to consider the train. 39 euros from Verona to Vienna and then one hour more by train from Vienna to Bratislava. I do not know the bus price but there is also this other option.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bratislava?

KC Dunaj, Batelier, Subclub.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bratislava?

Mille Baci, Primo amore, Sushi time and for slovak food a place in snp namestye.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Go to Sanberg and Devin Hrad, then visit Slovakia: tatra mountains are Great for who loves hiking.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bratislava in the future?

Visit from there also Prague and Budapest, they are great cities and so close to Bratislava.
