Why did you choose to go to Bratislava, Slovakia?

Because it's located in the centre of Europe and it gave me the possibility to travel a lot. And then, it's not a very big city but welcoming and liveable.

6 months. You receive 230€ per month.

How is the student lifestyle in Bratislava?

Awesome. Students, Erasmus and non-Erasmus, are very open. It is very easy to fit in also because everyone speaks English very well.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bratislava to other students?

Sure. My experience there was beautiful, University staff was very helpful and the city is amazing.

How is the local food?

It is like the typical central Europe food, decent.

How did you find the accommodation?

My University took care of it.

How much is the rent? How much is the living cost generally?

About 70€ per month, Internet included. Going out almost everyday, travelling a lot and always partying, I would spent about 600€ per month.

How about the language? Did you attended any language course?

Slovak is a very hard language but all young people speak English.

What is the cheapest way to get to Bratislava from your home town?

Low cost flights from Bergamo.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bratislava?

Every university club, so every club which is near to the dorm Mlinska Dolina

And for eating? Could you talk about your favourite places?

In the city center there's the Slovak Pub which offers cheap typical Slovakian dishes.

Cultural places to see?

There are several. The Slavin is totally worth a visit.

Any suggestion to the future students that will come in Bratislava?

Go to Bratislava and have fun, enjoy your university life and if you can travel do it, take advantage of its location and travel around Europe.
