Why did you choose to go to Bratislava, Slovakia?

For it's locations and low prices.

How long does the grant last? How much money do you receive for help?

The grant lasted 3 months for me, including a return trip and a trip home for Christmas. 3, 300 euros.

What is the student environment like in Bratislava?

Excellent, relaxed, it's nice.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bratislava to other students?

Obviously.

What the country's food like?

Nothing special.

How did you find accommodation?

University residence. Everything was sorted before leaving home by the international relations office in the university.

How are the prices of accommodation? And the prices in general?

I paid 75 euros per month for a shared room. Equally to the living cost in Portugal, some things are cheaper than others.

How is the language? Did you attend any language courses at the university?

The language is very difficult. No, it was at 7 in the morning.

What is the most economical way to get to Bratislava from your city?

Flight. Lisbon - Vienna or Lisbon - Bratislava.

Where would you recommend for a night out in Bratislava?

Casey, I don't remember the names any more but there are good offers and as an Erasmus student anything is worth it.

And eating out in Bratislava? Can you name your favourite places?

Nothing in particular.

And in terms of cultural visits?

Travelling, it's close and cheap to go to the following cities: Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Ljubliana, Cracow.
