Romania road trip: Zoomserie: espresso, cappuccino and ice cream

A chill morning

The second day of the road trip starts on a chill vibe as we are relaxing a bit, charching our batteries and getting energized over a cup of coffee and some sweets at one of the best cafe and cake shop we have been to lately named Zoomserie.

Where is Zoomserie located? 

In the morning, as we begin walking through the streets of Brasov, we stumble across on the street Appollonia Hirscher at numer 1 Zoomserie. Actually, my friends are searching for ice cream and here, among the many goodies that they have, is found ice cream too. 

The refrigerators filled with a wide variety of cakes and placed maybe strategically at the entrace of the store, as well as the good overwhelming smell of coffee, determine us - especially me who I am a coffee lover - to start our day in this pleasant place. 

The atmosphere and the interior aspect of Zoomserie

As you can probably guess, the atmosphere is very nice, cozy and welcoming. The arrangament of the interior is modern, clear and well thought. Christmas decorations are on of course, contribuing to the colorful and enjoyable feeling of the space. At the same time, the employees are respectful and kind. Plus, the bathrooms are looking good and are super clean. 

The goodies we have in Zoomserie

I order a double espresso - because just one is not enough - which is looking great and proves to be one of the most delicious ones I had lately. My espresso costs 9 lei, meaning 1.80 euros which I find being a quite reasonable price taking in consideration the quality of the product and the good serving the shop offers. As I am writing this article and looking over pictures, I am craving it so hard! 

Besides, my friends are getting different produce including the much-desired ice cream or better called the pretty mini-ice cream, which according to my friends is very savory. They also get hot drinks like a cappuccino, hot chocolate or caramel-flavored cappuccino which are as well very tasty. We like the place, so guess what, we are taking another group photo in here including our new friend, the reindeer.

Recommended or not?

After we have our morning coffee and snacks in Zoomserie, we are ready to start our second day of exploration, full of sugar and of much needed energy. The cake shop with its coffee, icecream, desserts and delightful atmosphere is surely a place to come back to. If you are travelling in Brasov and don't know where to have a good cup of coffee or same high quality sweets, cakes and desserts I recommend you to try out Zoomserie.
