Why did you choose to go to Bragança, Portugal?

I chose Braganca for Erasmus, because I wanted to go to the country which has better climate, but there in winter was not so warm. Anyway, my university had only some places in Spain and some in Portugal-Braganca, so for make sure that I will go to Erasmus I choose Portugal (less competitor)

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I've got scholarship for five months and it was 500 euros every month. Just for live this money where enough, but if you want to travel or something you will need some help from parents.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bragança?

Well, the student life is amazing in Braganca, parties everyday day and so on.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bragança to other students?

Braganca is a small student city, looks like a village more. I would recommend for people who wants to party, meet quite friendly people and somebody who loves mountains or just nature.

What is the food like?

Food is normal like everywhere.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bragança?

Our university helped us with flat, actually there are organizations that help you finding a place, for example, single room for one month cost 125 euros+bills, room for share with somebody 85 euros+bills per month.

How much does it cost to live in Bragança?

I think 700 euro would be perfect.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

You can attend Portuguese language classes, but they were super late around 10. 00 pm until 00. 00 so you will be super tired, and language is hard, well, for Spanish people it's not hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bragança from your city?

I need to take two flights, and later from Porto I went by bus to Braganca. I think it's the only way to get there.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bragança?

I would definitely recommend Mercado club, Havana also is not that bad, Moda is quite good, but we always were starting the party in Glup because the drinks are much cheaper and the music is good.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bragança?

I would recommend to go to some typical restaurants from there, to try their food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There is a castle, theatre, hill with a saint, church, not so much to visit.

Yes, just enjoy the time there, because Erasmus is the best what can happen!
