What is it like to live in Bragança? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Bragança is a quiet and cheap city to live in it is very safe and clean has wonderful nature and landscapes the weather is usually very cold and rainy in winter and very hot in summer spring is the best season to be in Bragança

What is the student lifestyle like in Bragança?

the university campus is very close to where the students may live no need for transportation, most of the teachers are very nice and understanding the university is also good and is ranked within the first schools in Portugal

How much does it cost to live in Bragança?

single rooms are 135-160 £/ month food and clothing are about
200 euros /month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bragança? Is there any advice you can give?

in Braganca Riskivector office which is located in the Ipb campus is usually the main place to go to for accommodation they offer rooms in apartments or houses all around bragança

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I only ate at the Ipb canteen, the food is mainly made of fish rice and vegetables so its quite healthy and clean
their vegetable soups are my favorite

What places would you recommend visiting in Bragança?

there isn't much to see in bragança except for nature but it is 3hours away from Porto and Braga and 45 min away from Mirandela which are more interesting to visit

Is it good to eat out in Bragança? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

there aren't too many restaurants in bragança but some which offer fast food or traditional food may be good depending on your taste

Is the nightlife good in Bragança? Where is good to go?

I'm not a fan of clubs or bars as I don't drink but I think a lot of Erasmus students go to a variety of bars and party all night

What advice would you give future students heading to Bragança?

Bragança may not be the best city in Portugal as it is very quiet and small but as a student in a foreign country it will be very easy to adapt and make new friends it is also quite cheap comparing to other cities which will allow you to keep your wallet full while experiencing Portuguese life
