Why did you choose to go to Bonn, Germany?

My teacher had some contact with one university here

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My treeineship was 6 months with the project of Erasmus plus. I got 350 euro for month but they were enough just to pay the rent of my room.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bonn?

I was spending a lot of time in the lab, becouse I m a chemistry but was really nice. In my case I didn't have a fix time so it dipend from things to do

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bonn to other students?

Yes, but you have to know that is a really small city.
Really quite.
If you are looking for a party or night life is better go to koln

What is the food like?

You can find a lot of different options about food, there are a lot of different restaurants.
You can easily find a Greek, Italian and so on food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bonn?

This is the big problem of the city, too many students and find a place is really hard.

How much does it cost to live in Bonn?

To live in good way, going out for dinner 1 a week and the rest cook at home is around 600 euro but with the room bill inside

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes there are, it is not to easy get them becouse there are a lot of requests and place free are not so much.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bonn from your city?

If you are a student you pay around 300 euro for university but you get a semester ticket and you can travel free in train and bus for one part of Germany

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bonn?

Yes it is a quite place, please consider that you can stay alone because there is noone in the street

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bonn?

At lunch I go to the mensa, there are several options.
In the evening I love going to Greek restorant or polish

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bonn in the future?

Search early a house and don't trust to much about send money before your arrival.
