Boca is a summer city. Weather is always hot. Beach is sand. Water is good. People in Boca are usually from up north and they speak English not like Miami. Crime rate is very low. Florida Atlantic University is the major University here. Boca is not a Cosmopolitan city. If you are young and If you come from London, New York, Berlin,Istanbul, Paris, Amsterdam you might get bored after several weeks.

What is the student lifestyle like in Boca Raton?

Usually student work after school. They are too busy work and school. Usually friday or saturday nights restaurants and clubs are full in Boca, Delray Beach and deerfield beach area.

How much does it cost to live in Boca Raton?

If you are a student and share a room with a friend including utilities, phone and other expenses I think between $ 1.200 and $ 1.500 per month is enough to live in Boca.

University has Dorms. and around University area there are student apartments. It is not difficult to find apartment in Boca. Two bedroom apartments with swimming pool in a nice area are $ 1400- $ 1600. In Downtown Boca nice apartments Luxury 2 bedroom between $ 1.800 and 2.600. I recommend Boca Down town. All stores, supermarkets, clubs are in Downtown. It is 2 miles far from Florida Atlantic University. Public transportation is available. It is very much safe. 10 minutes walking distance to the beach.

All kind of restaurants are available in Boca. Chops is the famous and expensive restaurant in Boca.

In Boca Downtown there are all kind of restaurants. If you want a German Pub Biergarten, expensive nice fine dining restaurants Chops.

Is the nightlife good in Boca Raton? Where is good to go?

There are nice bars and clubs for young kids on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach.

What advice would you give future students heading to Boca Raton?

Download Uber and Lift aps to their mobile phones. They will need it. Bicycle is common and city has bicycle roads BUT weather is too hot and humid. Here is not a cosmopolitan city. Population is usually old and 55+. My daughter studied high school in Boca. She said there is no life in Boca and she moved to Europe.
