Why Erasmus?

Why Erasmus?

Hello everyone again

It’s undeniable that nowadays the world is getting closer, and that new generations are the ones to live most the so called “Globalization”. This process, which unmistakably is part of the human evolution, has many benefits to take advantage from. At least in my opinion, the exchanges offered to students are one of the biggest advantages.

Going away from home opens you mind. You may have already heard this affirmation many other times, but truths are often repeated. Going away to a new place helps you to expand your skills as a person, and also in your academic field.

But, why not moving to a foreign country? Benefits will be duplicated. You’ll meet people from different countries, you’ll learn to write, understand, read and speak other languages, and you’ll live every day around a foreign place. And, without even noticing it, you’ll become more tolerant with yourself and others.

And, of course, it is essential on your academic progress! In the day of today, English is already an absolutely necessary requirement and you will need it everywhere you go, whatever you want to do. So, what makes the difference? The languages you know, apart from English. Whatever your interests are, as much as languages you know, more jobs you’ll be able to apply for! Success is guaranteed.

But also learning new languages is a great experience, and very pleasant! It helps you to communicate with people from different cultures and beliefs, ending up being a citizen of the world!

The exchanges offered to students make all of this possible. Erasmus, as many other exchange programs, gives you the opportunity to live a wonderful experience that will be part of you forever. Although that now the economic crisis is being a great inconvenient, if you get the chance to live in a foreign place, even for a while: DO IT!
