Where do You Use a Personal Loan?
There’s a loan for every expense — a home loan, a car loan, a student’s loan and even a business loan. So why do people need a personal loan? Ms Rita Shekhawat did and this is how it helped her:
Ms Shekhawat lost her parents early in life and was fostered by her aunt and uncle, until she started supporting herself with internships and freelancing. When God gives you less in one area, he makes up for it in others. She was blessed with a brilliant mind that helped her secure a scholarship for college. She passed with flying colours and soon got a job too, talent never waits for too long after all. Her home rent and living expenses were comfortably covered by her salary. However, her career was only three years old when she decided to marry the love of her life.
Like every girl who wants the best from the world, she wanted a nice wedding ceremony too — where she could wear the perfect bridal wear, organize a feast for all her loved ones and marry her man following all the Hindu rituals. With very little savings she either had to settle for a wedding that wasn’t as she planned it to be or ask for help from her uncle and aunt, for money or assets that she could mortgage for a loan. So, what did she do?
She availed for a personal loan and paid her half of the wedding while the groom and his family paid for the rest of it; and she enjoyed one of the most special days of her life with immense pride and joy.
This is how her personal loan helped her:
- She borrowed the money from the bank on a reasonable interest rate, which required no collateral security. Her annual income was enough to get her loan sanctioned. Also, she didn’t have to specify the purpose of the loan to the bank. One might think spending on a party is not wise, but for her it was her wedding, it was important.
- The procedure was easy and quick, so she didn’t have to spend hours in the process. With the service of personal loans online, she received an instant approval. Help is good, quick help even better!
- She got to choose a flexible tenure to repay her loan at her own convenience.
- She even got tax deduction under Section 24B.
- She continued living with pride.
She paid off the loan; and today when she flips through the pages of her wedding album, she knows she didn’t spend her money on a party. She invested in memories that will be cherished forever.
