What to do in Hanam
What should you do in Ha Nam?
If you are looking for visiting an organic garden, Trac Van is a good choice for you.
Trac Van is one of a small village in Ha Nam province. Trac Van is the main source of Bac Tom chain which is selling organic vegetable.
Activities you can do in Trac Van are:
1. Visit the committee building
2. Visiting the monument yard
There is a beautiful monument yard which is in front of the committee building. A beautiful trees line will amaze you with their greenness.
3. Visit the organic Farm where you can just take the fruit then eat it directly without washing it.
We went to Trac Van one day to attend a meeting then we visited the garden for 30minutes. Our driver was thirsty so he went to pick up one cucumber and just ate it without any doubts. All of us did the same later on.
4. Visit the cow farms
There are around 3 big cow farms in Trac Van so you can pay a visit to see how they grow the cows.
5. Visit the orange garden
There are two main oranges in most gardens in Trac Van. They are 'Bac Hung' and 'Vinh'. The 'Bac Hung' orange has better smell, while 'Vinh' orange is sweeter.
6. Visit the Guava garden
Guava trees are grew together with orange trees, so you can visit both gardens at the same time. Dont forget to ask the local people to taste the fruits and buy them as gifts with a good deal.
7. Visit the temple
Each village in Vietnam has one temple where they will organize annual festival which is normally happened after Tet holiday (around Feb of solar New Year).
I have seen different temples in different villages in Vietnam but I love the one in Trac Van the most because it has an ancient beauty as well as great design.
8. Having lunch in a good restaurant
After getting tired from a long walk. You can stop by a restaurant which is nearby the temple.
You will be interested in this drink in the restaurant.
9. Play volleyball with the youth
And yes, dont forget to join the youth to play volleyball nearby the veg garden.
Ask any local person, they will be happy to guide you.
