Trolls!
Trolls are a part of the Norwegian culture, it surprised me how many statues are situated around Norway and how many souvenirs feature the little creature. It all comes from the Norwegian mythology, and several tales are listed around the trolls. Trolls usually live in isolated rocks, mountains or craves, they live together as a family and are rarely helpful to the human beings. In the folkore of Norway, trolls are often described as strong, evil and dangerous giants. There is even a movie around those considered dangerous creatures, called The Troll Hunter. Norway has a kind of weird fascination with the trolls, which comes from the old folkores and since those are very old, they have grown to be part of the Norwegian heritage. Pretty cool, but whether to believe in trolls or not, stays a personal decision. They are nice to see and take pictures with when on holiday at least!
