The Erasmus period has come to be known as extremely fun and very busy, with students meeting people from all corners of the world and travelling to new destinations. But as we all know most students live on a tight budget and travelling normally means staying in cheap hostels and catching flights at the crack of dawn. That’s why we’d like to tell you about “Chollos”, a new section within Logitravel.com.

For those of you who are still learning Spanish, the word “chollo” may not mean anything to you, well, so that you know for Spanish people the word more or less means “great saving” or “what luck”. In English the closest translation would be “bargain”.

The online travel agency, Logitravel.com has a whole section dedicated to “chollos”, a goldmine for cheap package deals, for example 4 days in Lisbon flight+hotel from just 93€ or 5 days in Lanzarote from 141€. This section usually has last minute offers with medium category hotels or low cost airlines, but not always. What they do always have in common is their incredible prices…A “chollo”. You can find Europe packages, Mediterranean breaks, cruises and also trips to the other side of the Atlantic to New York or the Caribbean.

When searching for a bargain it’s a good idea to have the following philosophy ‘I don’t mind where I go, I just want a cheap deal’. On the other hand if you have a specific destination and dates you will have to use the search engine and need to filter by number of nights, price per person, departure date and the destination type to be able to find the best deals.

What do you say? Have we encouraged you to visit Logitravel.com for your next bargain? Check out “chollos”, we’re sure you’ll find it very interesting.
