So, I just finished a trip to Israel: I visited Tel Aviv for 3 days and then I attended a pilgrimage with a group from Romania and with my family.

I arrived at the airport at noon and because I was sleepy and I didn't know exactly how the things are there, even if I showed them papers with my contract from Lithuania, the booking from hostel, the trip I was going to participate later, they still send me to the office to wait there for 4 hours (horrible!): fingerprints, picture and in 5 minutes I was out with a short period visa. Then, I took a cab to go to Tel Aviv because one friend was waiting for me there.  The taxi driver visited Romania for 5 times and he told me he's gonna go next year again and that he likes our country very very much! So, I was amazed by the hostel, it was super cool, located in the old town, full of bars and interesting shops there, lot of people, lot of noise:D

As my friend left after 2 hours in which we stayed on a terrace 'cause he had to work, I decided to go to some bar to have some beers and look arround. Fact: the prices are unbelievable big, everybody is smoking inside the bars, cigarettes and weed, people are very friendly and they speak english:))) just for the record, one beer can cost between 7 and 10 euros, for 1 BEER!!! It's craaazy!! What I found also is that the medium salary is about 1.500 Euros but the life there is quite expensive! One burger is 15 euros, a normal lunch can be between 14-20 euros (of course I am talking about normal places), one pack of cigarettes is 9 euros and I found out that one night at that hostel costs 100 euros. OMG!!! I was very very lucky that it was a present because I didn't have that much money to pay for the room..:| The rent there is between 700-1000 euros for 2 rooms..I don't really know how people can survive there. A ticket to movie is 10 euros and...let's not talk about the apartments there: last year a penthouse was sold with 17 mil. Euros!

The city is crouded, it has new big buildings, it has also old ones: Bauhauses- those houses with round corner, small balcony, white and very beatiful! Almost everybody has an electrical bike, there are Cofix Shop where you can find everything at about 6 shekel (1.45 euros), for example I had some fresh orange-carrots juices, traditional food is shakshuka (tomato souce, boiled egs and you can choose with hummus or other things), kebap which is meat on a stick (minced lamb, beef or chicken flavored with parsley or coriander, spices, nuts and date, pomegranate, tamarind or carob molasses), Orez Shu'it (white beans cooked in a tomato stew and served on rice, hummus (simple, with mushrooms or other vegetables, served with some souce and pickels). The best hummus I ever ate was at Masawsha bistro with a cold and tasty pomegranate lemonade!:X:X

What can I say more? If you go as a girl you will meet a lot of nice guys and you can spend some time with new people, they will offer you a joint for sure:)))), you can find beautiful hand made jewelry (you have to buy something with hamsa- the protector hand -This symbol of an eye embedded in the palm of an open hand has had numerous other names throughout the ages, including the eye of Fatima, the hand of Fatima, and the hand of Miriam.), you have to go to a small second-hand vintage shop which is on Hakishon Street close to the intersection with Shalma Road and for sure CAMEL MARKET it's a must! I have to say that the beach there is AMAAZING, laarge, with a lot of places to play volleyball, outdoor gym, terraces on the edge and o, I forgot to tell you that the fruits are cheaper, esspecially my favourite avocadooo:X:X and almonds, caju, nuts too:D

I will go to visit Tel Aviv again for sure if God will keep me healty and I also wanna see how is the night life there and visit more places. There you can find everything you want, I mean EVERYTHING! too many shops, too many things, too many poeple:))) It is nice, I recommend you to go there but pay attention: IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE!
