Finally, the time came to make a summary of 2013. Well… I don’t even know what to begin with. It was a year full of changes, that I won’t categorize into “good” or “bad” because there is no point in doing this. Things happen, and I know that all of the things that happened to me this year were meant to happen and to bring me to this moment. I am in the right place at the right time. Madrid is my home now. I don’t regret a single moment, nor a single decision that I have made. I had some opportunities that I haven’t taken, but it resulted in my being here in Madrid right now, which is the best thing that could have happened to me.

This year I made a big step in my professional life – I finished my bachelor’s degree in financial mathematics. Today I proudly hold my diploma and can officially say that I am a Mathematician. Apart from that, in February I ended my Erasmus in Murcia, an experience that I will never forget and that was the beginning of all the changes that followed. I lived in three cities – Murcia, Lodz and Madrid, made a bus trip from Spain to Poland that lasted two days with one wonderful, yet rainy day in Paris, sang and played a few concerts in Murcia which was a giant leap for me as a musician and ended up doing a masters’ degree in the best city in the world which is Madrid.

There have also been some changes in my personal life that I won't talk to you about in here, but in Madrid, I met some wonderful people, people that I consider to be my friends and who are there for me when I need them.

It was a year of changes, of emotions, of quick decisions and taking the risks. And I must say that after all, it was great.

So. Cheers to 2014 and may it be the year when all your dreams come true!
