Blog: Nesna (English version)
Tags: General

There is no better way of starting a blog than writing about a party.

This is because this week Nesna University is celebrating Stuka, what means "students' week". It consists on several activities to let the students interact to each other and have some fun together.

It has started on Tuesday 22, and tomorrow is the last day. Students' parlament and some volunteers (as I am) are the responsibles of preparing everything for the events. If we volunteer we get free passes for the whole week, and those cost 400,- so it is well-worth it helping them. It is also a great chance to talk to some Norwegian people, and to let them know that we are interested in socialising. Norwegian people, but for the general thought that they are so cold (that is true, anyways) are really friendly, and they love talking and helping you if they can do so.

So, as a volunteer I have the cnahce of enjoying the whole week "by free", for helping them prepare what they need.

On Tuesday, we celebrate a quiz and there were about 70 people! That means that Nesna people were really looking forward to joining other students and haveing some fun together.

On Wensday, we watched some films together at Samfunnshuset. Grease and Dirty Dancing. We were sitting on some coaches, so it was really comfortable. There were not so much people, so it was a really familiar and nice atmosphere.

Yesterday we danced for a while in the same place. Volunteers spent there some hours getting everything ready for the rest of students to have fun. And I think we got it. Not a lot of people came, but they had so much fun.

Today and tomorrow  some concerts are taking part. I wish for being a weekend more students are coming and we could meet more people.

I will tell you at the end of Stuka :)
