Reevaluation of the Iraqi Dinar
For over a decade the news about the Iraqi Dinar has been less than positive. The reality is that the Dinar should be reevaluated. The point of the Iraqi Dinar reevaluation should be to take a closer look at what the real value of the Dinar is.
Avoiding the propaganda that is often associated with anything Iraqi is important. Getting down to the bottom line to see if the Dinar is a good investment or not requires that we fish through the fog and get to the facts.
Has there been an increase in value?
There has been an increase in the value of the Dinar; although it has been slow. A true Iraqi Dinar reevaluation does show growth. As the region stabilizes and commerce and industry return the dinar has shown some improvement.
Investing in the dinar is a good way to buy low and eventually sell high. It will not crumble and it will continue to grow. Patience is the key. If you take a closer look at the Iraqi Dinar you will very likely be surprised by what you see.
A wise investment.
Investing when the dinar is still rather low valued is the perfect time to invest. All indicators point to growth over the next 5 years. Industry has returned to the region and there is still a very active American presence in Kuwaiti City where the economy has turned around nicely.
Understanding the bigger picture will help you to make a wise investment in this currency. The Dinar is one of those things if you do not jump on board early on it will rise above the range of affordable and will grow increasingly more in value but you will not gain all there is to be gained.
Rich in oil.
The dinar will pick up steam as the value of oil rises and the Iraqi reserves are released. What you paid 10 years ago for Dinar has tripled since than in large part due to the cost of the oil. This is an oil economy and those that have it are in a very good position to make a lot of money in the global market. This of course will only increase the value of the Dinar further.
Before you let this opportunity escape take a good look at the numbers and read beyond the propaganda. There is a lot of money to be made.

Iraqi dinar revaluation will never happen in year 2015. However, the good news is that CBI and the Iraqi Government
annouced, back in October 2014, that revaluation of Iraqi Dinar is a must for the Iraqi Economy to stop the deterioration
of the Iraqi Economy and meet the economic demands of the flourishing Iraqi market. Cbi announced that new denominations
would be issued; the new Iraqi dinar denominations 25000, 10000, 5000, 1000, 500 and 250 IQD. All denominations issued had
stronger security & blind-friendly features. CBI also annouced the deletion of the 50 Iraqi Dinars denomination because it
contradicts with the issue of the New Iraqi dinars in the first quarter of 2016 which will be without zeros. Deletion of
zeros will include the following denominations:- 25000, 10000, 5000, 1000. 500 & 250. So the new denominations will be 25
Iraqi Dinar, 10 IQD, 5 IQD, 1 IQD and coins will be 1/2 IQD and Quarter IQD. It is expected in the second quarter of 2015
that new Iraqi denominations of 50000 and 100000 to be issued so that the banknot collection is complete: 100 IQD, 50 IQD,
25 IQD, 10 IQD, 5 IQD, 1 IQD. Of course, such currency reset will need a two year transition period ( starting the first
quarter of 2016 ) as it needs planning and gradual presentation to the market.
