The road to Myrkdalen

Myrkdalen, another wintersport area in south Norway. The road from Hovden to Myrkdalen was again amazing, we visited different fruit planting areas, with some of the best fruits I have ever tasted, from deep purple cherries, to bright red strawberries and bright pink raspberries. It was amazing. But we also came across different tunnels, even tunnels with roundabouts in them?! Surreal.

The holiday park & activities

The holiday park of Myrkdalen was really really focussed on the tourists from the winter. Therefore, this was my least favorite park. There was not much to do in the surroundings next to more hiking. We went on some beautiful hikes around the park, made some new cow friends, played around in the fields, saw amazing views on different hikes. We did not stay that long in Myrkdalen, only 2 or 3 days. Which was perfect for Myrkdalen in the summer.

Hikes around town

There were some pretty amazing hikes around town, featuring the infinite snow, with the cool cows, and pretty amazing waterfalls. It was beautiful.
