My favourite coffee shop in Hanoi
One of the things I missed the most about Hanoi is the feeling of sitting in a coffee shop on the high floor where we can see the view, enjoy coffee and work with a laptop.
Here are my favourite coffee and things that make me love them.
The coffee shop with Hoan Kiem Lake view
Avalon coffee - 73 Cau Go
My story with Avalon
I got to know Avalon by searching the coffee shops with the best view in Hanoi. I didnt regret when I went there. if you go to the 7th floor, you can enjoy whole view of Hoan Kiem lake. 'Avalon coffee' is quite nice with a suitable price - 70.000VND (more than 2 USD). The toilet is in 5th floor and really comfortable.
Location
It is quite easy to see the sign 'Avalon coffee' when you arrive at 73 Cau Go. You just need to take the elevator to 5th floor then go upstairs to 6th or 7th floor if you like to sit outside.
Wifi
Wifi is quite good in all floors.
Ifeel - 63 Cau Go
There is a weekly meeting of Couchsurfing every Saturday in this coffee shop that was the reason I went there at the first place. Even though I and my friends (Jess, John, Emma and Martin) could not join the meeting since we came late, we had a great time together.
I loved the chicken bread (only 25.000VND - around more than 1USD ) even though I dont really eat chicken. The view is as nice as Avalon coffee, and the toilet is as convenient as Avalon coffee.
Wifi is quite good at all floors.
Cafe Dinh - 11 Hang Gai
Just nearby Avalon and Ifeel, cafe Dinh is one of the oldest coffee shops in Hanoi where you can enjoy a nice egg coffee with 40.000VND (Around 1,7USD). The view is great and the structure of the old house is really attractive. You will love it when you go upstairs with an old iron stairs.
Wifi is not working well for some laptops.
Cafe Pho Co - 13 Dinh Tien Hoang
It is where you can have the best egg coffee in Hanoi with the cheapest price. The only one thing is that there is no parking slot, no toilet.
To be continued.
