"Nature gives everyone. I read somewhere—and the person who wrote this was not a mountaineer but a sailor—that the sea’s only gifts are harsh blows and, occasionally, the chance to feel strong. Now, I don’t know much about the sea, but I do know that that’s the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong, to measure yourself at least once, to find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions, facing blind, deaf stone alone, with nothing to help you but your own hands and your own head. . . . But, excuse me, that’s another story. The one I told you ends like this..." - Primo Levi-Bear Meat

I always loved re-reading this passage from Primo Levi's "Bear Meat", always thought it holds some sort of key to living a full life, a true life, in which you are attuned constantly to yourself.

So, lets start from the beginning. I always loved exploring new places and cultures. So, as soon as I heard of the Erasmus program I started participating actively. First, in 2011 for an entire school year in Alghero, Sardinia, Italy. During the time spent the I studied my 3rd year in architecture at the Facolta di Architettura di Alghero. Than, years later, in 2014-2015 with the Erasmus Plus program, a three month internship at Salon Architects, in Istanbul.

During the three months spent in Istanbul, I had the privilege to meet amazing people, make you friends and explore an incredible culture that still today amazes me. I will go back, very soon and will upload more interesting stories about the city of cats.

Till then, here is a video, it is a first attempt at filming, so, bare in mind that the camera jitter as well as the in-out of focus scenes are a somewhat intentional mistakes.
