Home, sweet home!
Lets first say, that is is not somehow official blog or somethink like that. I just thought, that it could be interesting to write about erasmus from the other wiew! So here you can read my personal ideas and my own oppinions and insights. :)
In the general, there is an International students club, here in Brno. This club has a half of members from abroad students and the other half is composed from czech students. Those, whose are czech are usually called tutors and in the assumption they taking personal care about students abroad - pick them up in the airport, show him town and faculty, learn him tipical czech phrase "Jedno pivo prosim" and usually going with him to parties and others.
And there is also a team, made out from czech students. This people, me including, takeing care about all of the activities, that can be organised for exchange students. We are all volunteers. We do preparing all the trips, parties, balls, cultural programme, language clases, sports, board games, cinema evenings, open stages, country prezentations and others. Just imagine, tell and we can try to make it happened :D.
Who I´am and what do I do? Well, my name is Radka and I´m a student of history. I´m now 21 years old, like reading and I was "born to be scout" :) In ISC, I´m working at office, being a tutor and preparing some trips or other activities, based on, what is need to do. After some time I somehow take responsibility for projects to our partner Google Plus.
ISC is just a part of ESN. Erasmus student network. It is working around whole europe and smaller parts are national ESNs. ESN focuses international student clubs across Europe and give them a base and kind of protection, cooperations and new ideas. :) At thi national level, I´m maybe about to became project coordinator, but we´ll see, if I´ll be pick up ;). Out of nation I´m working on project for Network and Events Committee.
Gues it is all for now. Hope you are able to enjoy and sorry for all of the gramatic mistakes! :)
