Blog: Impressive Days In Armenia

Goshavank Monastery was built in the 12th or 13th century. Goshavank Monastery located in the village of Gosh in the Tavush Province of Armenia. There you can see beautiful and old armenian Khachkars. Khachkar is a carved, memorial stele bearing a cross, and often with additional motifs such as rosettes interlaces, and botanical motifs. Khachkars are characteristic of medieval christian armenian art. In Goshavank Monastery there is a big and very old walnut tree (you can see on the photo) it is very beautiful. And in the yard of Goshavank you can find and buy Armenian traditional things for example armenian teas, armenian bijou jewelry, etc.

I suggest go and see that beauty...
