This blog is specially used for Literature class with the means of developing cognitive skills in 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th grade students through reading, commenting and questioning.  it is a very useful tool for nowadays students, given the fact that millenial kids learn through technology and achieve a high level of competence by getting involve in different activities such as Socratic Method of asking questions and higher thinking. It enhances enjoyment of various forms of fictional prose, increases understanding and storytellig, encourages exploration of the diversity of human experience. introduces a  broad spectrum of literature in translation that begins in the renaissance and concludes in the present. Includes works of fiction, poetry, drama and nonfiction. Understanding through analysis , develop visual literacy, contributes to act and react, study techniques. Focus on tragedies, comedies, later stories, and nondramatic poetry. Emphasize in strategies students need for writing and thinking across the curriculum by argumentating,    analysis, summarizing, comparison and contrast and definition. Each section will focus on a specific theme from previous classes have included the following: American identity, family, love, politics, American culture and biography. Questions students will be able to answer: what are the different types of poems, stories  and plays? What does it mean to be an American? How can writing help me to comprehend, explore and learn from what I read? How is my cultural heritage? The ultimate goals for this class are to expose students to heritage and history through the study and continue advancement towards mor mature, refined writing skills. Adapting to language , voice and style in writing and speaking to effectively communicate ideas.This tool will help them to enact change, will also maturely comprehend and analyze works of Literature to generate   ideas about themselves, their cultural history and their changing world. We are up for the challenge!
