A Sunday walk

My day started in a positive note this weekend, my weather app completely made fool of herself and instead of raining all day as predicted, it was super sunny and hot so after waking up pretty early this days, grabbing a quick breakfast, i decided to go out and spend the day walking and exploring the city i already knew so well. You see waking up in a city like Trabzon make you not miss your home town or country at all. In Targu Mures we do no have sea opening so basically it's just a boring medieval city but here instead i always have the Black sea next to me so this is worth waking up in the morning for.

One of my favorite activities since i am a ''housewife'' is to go to streets bazaar and go shopping for groceries. In Trabzon there is an inside bazaar actually is called ''the Russian market'' the name is somehow hypothetical because no there are no Russians selling there but anyways they are great exhibits of fruits, veggies, fish and also clothes or home utensils, so is always great to go and walk around the merchandise. Me and Muhammet we always like to buy fresh fruits and vegetables so today we picked up some mandarins and grapes.

Day 5

You know i have never say green mandarins like this ones in my life, we do not have them in Romania and when i first saw them i said Oh wow look at those limes, but no they are mandarins, imagine. And inside they look so pink it's like they are grapefruit, i was really surprised. One kilo was 3 TL and i got to taste one so they were amazing, super sweet.

This summer i noticed that i was eating a lot of grapes, usually i am not so much into fruits, growing up i almost never ate fruits and also now i am like this but when i see very good looking grapes, like the ones super big and green or burgundy i just totally need to buy them. And once i am home i just eat them in 10 minutes. I mean there is something about grapes!

Day 5

This is how the ''Russian bazaar'' is looking, pretty modest but trust me they always have the best products.

After we did the grocery shopping i said the sun is to nice today to spend the day inside four walls so we went for a walk but not on the regular streets we use to go, i said why not skip the track we always are used to, why not try different roads, said and done soon we found ourselves in a completely different neighborhood but it was totally worth it, because as we went more and more up ( it was like a hill ) we notice a bunch of nice villas so we immediately realized that this is a residential place where all the rich and famous of Trabzon live, from footballers to politician, the creme de la creme as French use to say.

The street was so quite and it was looking like another city, i saw they had their own private highschool and some shops so it was looking awesome but quite secluded to say at least. But one thing i noticed that caught my eye, it was this spectacular view which you don't see very often from the streets of Trabzon.

Day 5

This view is worth a million words and feelings, you don't get on a daily basis. And just random i got to find this view, i mean of course as we ascending i started to notice the sea view but i mean this, wow. This is Trabzon, the city at the Black Sea, the city i which i am living for the past one year and half. How come you don't love it, and how can i change this with any other city in the world.

This view actually gave me the feeling i am in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, the sea and the mountain in the same place is absolutely something i never seen before. It is a great miracle for nature!

Day 5

Day 5

This hike because i cannot say it was a walk anymore as i did some struggle to walk up on the hill, but it was totally worth it for a Sunday morning.

Tomorrow schools and universities starts in Turkey, Muhammet of course he will go to his final year of university so that's excited. And for me life is better now that i don't need to wake up for classes or projects anymore, this i am grateful for!

Wish you all a great Sunday!
