Botanical gardens in Hanoi
Today I would like to share with you my favourite garden in Hanoi, Vietnam named “” Botanical Gardens it is also called BACH THAO park (Bach Thao in Vietnamese means “hundreds of plants”). Located behind Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the garden has been known as the green lung of the capital for more than 100 years.
It is a good place for anyone who likes botany or looking for some nature in the crowded city. There are numerous kinds of trees that are typical for tropical rainforest like: coconut, palm, orchid, or banyan tree…Moreover, as a complex of garden, hill and lake, the garden is an ideal place for people to take a walk around the lake, rest under the trees, or watch pigeons on the islet.
Things I like the most is to join the local people do exercise in the garden in the morning and evening. I believe that it is a good way for tourists to know more about the locals’ lifestyle and enjoy the peace with them.
I like the gardens because they are such beautiful creations, and it's amazing to see the 'real thing' having seen the famous paintings so many times.
